That’s why Russell is pleased with the E-Marker’s robustness. ‘The pump has higher power compared to previous machines, so it pumps the paint through the machine more easily. The quality is visibly high because the pump always kicks in immediately and we haven’t noticed any hiccups with it yet.’ When he walks with the E-marker, he experiences great comfort. ‘This is because the weight distribution has been considered in the design, with the greatest weight resting on the rear axle, which allows for smooth maneuvering and when walking you don’t notice the true weight of the machine.

To date, there have been no breakdowns. But what Russell finds easy about the EX E-Volution concept, and the reason he encouraged the club to bring the EX E-Volution concept in-house, is the modular aspect. ‘If something happens, I don’t have to wait for a mechanic,’ Russel said. ‘Changing the boxes is easy. We get two extra boxes in stock. Those hardly take up any space in our shed, unlike when you put down two spare alignment machines. With just the boxes, we keep things tidy.’
